1. I'm proud to say that this year, I was not the first over-anxious guy on my block to get the lawnmower out. There is that uncomfortable time period, where you don't wanna be the first one to do it, but you also don't want to get left behind in the yardwork department. So, I can relax now, I've heard 2 sperate lawn mowing incidents and now I can mow mine. Spring is here.
2. With the temperature steadily climbing, being outside for extended periods of time is much more pleasent. Hence, the grill comes out. Yes, I made the commitment of pushing my grill from the shelter of the garage, to the back patio. So, now any given evening you get the thrill of trying to guess what kinda meat your neighbor is preparing over an open flame for his family. Who doesn't love cooking on the grill? Spring is here.
3. So, while running back and forth to Lowes to pick up all the things that I have been neglecting during the cold months, I noticed something. People outside. Not just hurrying to their car or running into the store. Actually spending time outside. A group of teens on the basketball court. A retired gentleman washing his classic car. And finally, cornhole. I counted 3 seperate sets of cornhole boards in one trip. Cornhole is out of control and taking over, atleast in the midwest. Seeing cornhole bags flying through the air is officially my third sign of spring.
